Played some trad ballads with my trad friends this week. It was the "Trad for Trocaire" week. The event raised a few euro for the charity. A nice night out.

Brick Lane is where I'm at.....

Need to waltz up and down Brick Lane in London a couple of times...... Need to take in the athmosphere and the sights/sites......need to do some research for my new book.....the book that I haven't got past chapter one with yet.......need some background info...some stuff..some colour.......this thursday lunch time.....man with camera and notebook...that'll be me alright......

New Book - Chapter One !

i was on facebook the other day and innocently answered a question from one of my friends about whether or not i had started to write my 4th book yet....i replied with a quick "yes" and thought no more of it. in reality, the only part of my new 4th book i had written so far are the words "Chapter One". So - technically - i answered the question correctly - not that i was trying to be economical with the truth or anything, you understand.
since then, i have had 51 messages from some of my other friends wanting to know more information - title, publishing date etc etc.
the interest has spurred me on in the last few weeks and i've applied myself to my task and have the first five chapters of the book completed - which is way further down the line than i thought i would be.
